History

Both workmanship and artistry have run through the veins of the Norga family for generations. What began a few generations back with artistic woodcarving for churches, has evolved via gravestone decorations in bronze into a specialist art foundry for contemporary visual art.

1990

Johan Norga takes the helm. With the arrival of the third generation ‘Bronsgieterij Norga’ was rechristened ‘Art Casting’.

1995

Art Casting was the first in Benelux to introduce the high-performance ceramic shell casting process.

2005

Move to larger premises in Oudenaarde (ca. 7000 m2).

2013

Implementation of ERP software with production planning tool.

2015

Advisory Council established.

2018

Construction of an additional 1200m² production facility with internal working height of around 10m.
