Three generations of knowhow at the service of the visual artist

Art Casting is today one of the largest art foundries in Europe. We put our multidisciplinary technical knowledge, experience and spacious production infrastructure at the service of visual artists and their galleries.

Our ‘one stop’ total solution, but above all our personal involvement ‘de-stress’ artists so that they can concentrate fully on the artistic.

History

Both workmanship and artistry have run through the veins of the Norga family for generations. What began a few generations back with artistic woodcarving for churches, has evolved via gravestone decorations in bronze into a specialist art foundry for contemporary visual art.

1990

Johan Norga takes the helm. With the arrival of the third generation ‘Bronsgieterij Norga’ was rechristened ‘Art Casting’.

1995

Art Casting was the first in Benelux to introduce the high-performance ceramic shell casting process.

2005

Move to larger premises in Oudenaarde (ca. 7000 m2).

2013
